Mounting the Antenna
3-18 Antenna Installation
Pole Installation
Tomounttheantennaonapole,performthefollowingsteps:
1. Attachthepole‐mountingbracketstotheantenna:
a. Placeoneofthepole‐mountingbracketsagainstthebackoftheantenna,andalignthe
screwholesovertwoscrewholesintheantenna.
Makesurethelargeslotinthebracket
isnotbehindtheantenna.Ifitis,turnthebracket
around.
b. Inserttwoofthescrewsinthemountingkitintotheantennascrewholes.
c. Placealock washerandnutontheotherendofeachscrew,andtightentofastenthe
brackettotheantenna.
d. Repeatfortheother
bracket.
2. Placethemountingclampsonthepole.
Ifyoucannotslidetheclampsoverthetopofthepole,completelyloosentheclampsuntilthey
comeapart,thenrefastenthemafterplacingthemaroundthepole.
3. Aligntheclampsaroundthecutoutsinthesidesofthepole‐mountingbrackets,
thentighten
theclampstofastentheantennainplace.
Solid Wall Installation
Toattachtheantennatoawall,performthefollowingsteps:
1. Preparethescrewholesasfollows:
a. Holdtheantenna(ormountingplate)inthedesiredinstallationlocationandmarkthe
wallinthelocationsofthescrewholes.Themountingplateisnotincluded.
b. Ifnecessary,drillpilotholesforthe
screws.
c. Ifnecessary,insertdrywallanchorsintotheholes.
d. Aligntheantennaormountingplatescrewholesovertheholesyouprepared.
2. Insertthescrewsintotheholestofastentheantennatothewall.Ifyouareusinga mounting
plate,attachtheantennatotheplate,thenattachthe
platetothewall.
