Installing the Hardware

70 Enterasys X-Pedition 8000/8600 Getting Started Guide

Note: Make sure the circuit card (and not the metal plate) is between the card guides, as shown

in Figure 30 on page 65. Check both the upper and lower tracks.

3. Lock down the left and right metal tabs to secure the switching fabric module to the chassis.

4. Use the #2 Phillips screwdriver to tighten the captive screws on each side of the switching

fabric to secure the switching fabric to the chassis.
